20" x 20" 2012 collection of Angela Brock The companion to Venetian I, this painting explores an ancient light and, for me, a fresh palette of yellows and chromatic greys with a minimum of blues, all on a red ground. I like where I went with it-- very far away from my familiar. It was a lot more satisfying than getting on a plane. |
